Yesterday was a good day.
I worked 11 - 3...an odd shift for me since I usually work 3 - 10. But I didn't mind so much cause it let me get out early. I headed home and changed and headed off to B+N to meet up with Shauna. We chilled I had a Tazo Green Tea frappacino...*drool*...and I think it is now Shauna's new drink...=) I treated her to a drink as I felt bad that she got so lost trying to find my house last saturday. Rosy and Mike showed up and chilled too. We then decided to head off to the mall.
We poked around a bit. We went into "We got what's hot" and I got a new and longer chain for my chain wallet. I've needed one for several months now...I'm so lucky I haven't lost my wallet...plus I love how chain wallets look. We poked around spencers...then we went to Hot Topic. I love Hot Topic. I stood and drooled over the Foamy vol.2 dvd that I still haven't bought...=( I bought a replacement for the pink sparkly eye shadow that I lent Rosy that exploded on her. I also bought one of those charity bracelets that seem to be such a fad at the moment. The cool thing...mine is black and has skulls!!! And it says Rock the Arts. I also grabbed a sage and citrus car jar from Yankee Candle.
We then went outside and tried to decide what to do next when Gormley called Mike. When I was at work earlier SFL tried to switch hours with me for today...her brother was supposedly in from Hong Kong. I had today off but she was working 3-10. I told her I'd think about it and give her a call. I was pretty sure at the time that I was going to the Chevelle, Taproot, 30 seconds to Mars concert at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom. So Gormley calls and is like...yeah while she was at work after I left yesterday she started complaining about her leg. Then after her shift ended she came back in on crutches with a note that she had gone to the emergency room and couldn't work the next few days convieniently. We're pretty sure she got her doctor father to write the note...and she has had leg surgeries in the past...so she'd have crutches lying around. Anyway I decided to work her hours today. I need the money. And no one else could go with me to the concert...plus the same three bands will be playing august 2nd I believe at the Roxy in Boston. So I'm going to that. There's also a Killswitch Engage show on monday at the palladium and a Seether and Crossfade show at the HBCB...the Seether/Crossfade show I believe is August 30th or 31st.
Anyway...we parted ways...Shauna went home...and me, Rosy and Mike headed off to Cinema World where we went to go see "Batman Begins" That was such an awesome movie. I loved the cast of characters...Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, the Russian guy from "The Saint" and "Stigmata", Rutger Hauer, and the guy from 28 days later(brainfarting on name)*drool*. All these big name actors took parts that weren't necessarily big parts and it worked wonderfully. I think Christopher Nolan did a great job. I loved the part *SPOILER WARNING* when Batman attacks Scarecrow with his own drug and looks completely evil with the black goo coming out of his mouth...now that was great! It was just an awesome movie...and it had ninjas!!! Even if it sucked it would have gotten brownie points for having ninjas. Speaking about ninjas...I found my copy of "Shogun Assassin"!!! I just need to get my Beta from big storage and I can have a showing of it since almost no one I know except Wally has ever seen it...which actually I find sorta dissapointing...U guys need to see it!!! It's up there on the three goreyest movies...and it has great martial arts and a good story to boot...It's where Samurai Jack and Kill Bill got their inspiration from. I also must say I loved how Batman was actually a long movie so it actually got to correctly tell it's story. I hate when movies are cut short for annoying impatient ppl. OH!!! And I saw a preview for "Serenity"!!! I saw the opening sequence and i was like "FIREFLY!!!" It was a Joss Whedon tele series which got cancelled. It wasn't my fav Joss Whedon venture but it was good and I was sad when it got cancelled. The preview looked awesome...it looked like it was the opposite of Buffy was a movie that was a great movie but I found to be a much better tv series...and Firefly looked like a good series which will be a much better movie.
I worked today. I was really lethargic all day...I actually could have used the day off...but I can use the extra dough too. AND! While at work today I was talking to Betty. Betty is a woman in about her late 50's early 60's. She's wicked sweet. Her husband is actually old buck mike that I had orientation with. Well the other day Rosy had been talking to her and mentioned that I was single. Well Betty just happens to have around 7 kids and one of them just happens to be single and turning 26 in August on the 9th I beleive. He owns his own house and such and works a the Hannaford's in Orange. So she mentioned me to him...and I guess he's been like...well mom have you talked to her yet? She told him I was a sweetheart...*blush*...=) So odds are that within the next week or so I may be going on my first official date!!! *Giddy Dance* I am slightly worried and thinking a lil far ahead of myself. Worry #1 is that he's 26...while I'm 26 and not necessarily looking for that complete settle down serious relationship...he may be...I'm a bit behind in the dating world. Worry #2...if things progress to a point where things get physical will he be averse to what turns me on? I'm sure these are all things that will be answered in due time...maybe it's a good thing that I don't know a single thing about him. Worry #3 I work with his parents...if things don't work out will they not like me anymore? will it be awkward at work? If things don't work out...I hope it's a like I know right on the first date thing. I'm all excited though. I still want to go out on a date with Jim...course it would help if I would grow enough balls to talk to Serena and ask for his number.
Tomorow (today since it's after midnight) I have the day off and I'm looking forward to chilling and mabye going out later. I don't know if anyone's doing anything. I may possibly be going to Mike's band practice...and then doing something afterwards. Or if there's nothing ppl are always welcome to come over my house and chill. I know it's a long ride to just come up and watch some tele.
Oh Man!!! I haven't told my completely gross and nasty story yet!!! So the other day I was sleeping right...and I feel something crawling on my ear...I go to brush it off but it doesn't go off...no...instead it goes into my ear!!! so I start putting my finger in to try and see if it will come out...but it just crawls further...and I can feel it crawling and hear it on the ear wax...I try doing the suction cup thing with my hand...nothing...so I get up and go to the bathroom and grab a cutip. I gently put it in and start clearing away any hindering ear wax trying not to make whatever it was go even deeper. I suction once again and then i feel it crawl out and it falls to the floor on a silken string...I pick it up with a piece of tissue...and it was a fucking spider!!! A tiny black spider had crawled into my ear!!! *Big Giant EEEEEEEEWWWWWWW*!!! Between that and the lobsters I'm in shudder mode.
Oh yeah...and I blushed so bad...we were in the theater last night and a song came on and i started singing...this was before previews when they are just playing that dumb trivia and ads...and Mike just looks at me and stares. He goes...you should learn to play guitar and go play places and write your own songs. I def was honored...when someone as musically talented as Mike...who has sisters who sing beautifully tells you you have a great voice I def blushed. Course it also made me want to go learn to play guitar and write my own songs and play places...=)
Anyway I'm off to bed for now...maybe catch a lil tv since the cable guy came today and replaced the bogus dvr box and activated on demand. Love you guys...=)
